Women's Self-Defense

Self-Defense That’s Simple, Practical, And Most Of All — Reliable

All too often women believe either that the horrible crimes that exist won’t happen to them or that even if something were to happen, they couldn’t defend themselves anyway against a man. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Our Orlando women’s self-defense program is based on the effective and efficient techniques of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.

This is a leverage-based martial art that requires no strength, speed, power, flexibility, or any other physical attribute to be successful. All you need is the desire to learn.

Leverage is something that everyone possesses and something that when you are taught to use correctly makes you bigger, stronger, and more capable than you ever imagined. Our system teaches you how to use your leverage so that you can be extremely proficient, technical, and safe when defending yourself either on your feet or on the ground. You will learn everything from awareness, approach techniques, grips, grabs, hugs, pushes, pulls, and tackles to any position imaginable on the ground. The ground is ultimately where physical confrontations end up and as a woman, it is especially necessary for you to learn Gracie Jiu-Jitsu as taught by The VI Levels Orlando so that you are prepared. Of course, our goal is to make you even more aware than you already are so that you can avoid dangerous encounters at all costs. However, sometimes danger just finds us, and you should be prepared. Our Orlando women’s self defense class will ensure you are ready for just about anything. Our goal is to empower you with mental and physical skills so that you can recognize and properly respond to physical situations. Remember, we teach self-defense, and our philosophy is for our students to be able to neutralize an attack, defend themselves, and safely remove themselves from that situation. We are NOT teaching you how to fight, we are teaching you to get away!
